Drink Indian to the young republic!

Best of India Part I

Raise a toast to India’s 72nd Republic Day with some of our best Indian sparkling and white wines handpicked by Wine Park.

The 72nd anniversary of our young republic is definitely one to take pride in as is India’s modern and bright story of wine making, having made remarkable strides and some sublime ferments. In just over 20 years, Indian winemakers have crafted wines of authentic Indian identity that has impressed the world, winning international gongs and palates. The last ten years especially has witnessed a generation of homegrown, young Indian oenologists exploring the depth and diversity of Indian terroir and coax great fruit from the vines so as to make wines of great balance and distinct character. They’ve also impressively increased our catalogue of grapes from the quartet of reliable French noble grapes by successfully experimenting with Sangiovese, Tempranillo, Malbec and Nero D’Avola. Their journey of patience and toil is certain to deliver some fine vintages for us Indians to look forward to and savour. So, in a special two-part series, Wine Park is trotting out its best Indian wines for you to toast our country’s purple health. Let’s get the celebration rolling with a fabulous clutch of Indian bubblies and whites. Cheers!
