Rolf Binder Halliwell Shiraz Grenache 2017

Halliwell means masterful and that’s what this red wine blend of Shiraz and Grenache from Australian producer Rolf Binder is. This red wine from Australia’s best wine region, the Barossa Valley. This wine tastes of plums, spice and dark chocolate, with a luscious long finish and velvety tannins.

Apaltagua Gran Verano Cabernet Sauvignon 2019

If there’s one red wine the Chileans can produces as well as any New World wine maker, it’s the Cabernet Sauvignon and that’s why we picked this for you. This Cabernet Sauvignon is a ripe red with intense aromas and flavours of red fruit with just a whiff of mint and firm tannins – a fine example of what Chile’s Central Valley can produce!

Apaltagua Reserva Carmenere 2019

Chile is probably the only new world country that makes a Carmenere and that’s because they make it so well! Another great red wine from the Chilean estate of Apaltagua, the Carmenere has aromas of plum and spice and tastes of fresh berries and soft tannins. It’s a great food wine and can be paired with pasta and rosemary lamb.

Dominio Del Plata Crios Torrontes 2019

You’re in a for a real treat with this zesty white wine. Torrontes is almost exclusively produced only in Argentina and Dominio Del Plata is one Argentina’s best producers of this white wine. Intense and pleasing floral aromas on the nose and citrus, peach and grapefruit flavours. Now here’s your great weekend pour!

Quinta de Cabriz 2017

The Portuguese make more than just great port wine. And you’ll know it from tasting the Quinta de Cabriz 2017 from the Portuguese region of Dao. This delicious red wine is a blend of local varieties and Spain’s most famous grape Tempranillo and is aged in French oak. A deep hue of red, the wine has concentration of flavours of cherry, plum and cinnamon with a touch of smoke. You’ll love this one!

Honig Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2016

California makes the some of the world’s best Cabernet Sauvignon and the best of Californian Cabernet comes from Napa. So obviously, that’s where we pick the wine from. Honig Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2016 abounds with plum, blackberry, toast and chocolate and a luscious long finish. This is rich, oak matured red wine that has floored the critics and will certainly impress you.
